This will be short and sweet like me.. :-)
Getting excited about Thanksgiving and all the food and festivities that go along with that day. It makes me cherish everything I have and everyone in my life including my two Golden Retrievers, Benson and Calypso.
At some point this week I'll be taking a yoga class or two. I'm actually in Germany right now with the family getting all the goodies ready for the feast on Thursday. The flight was pretty smooth until we got near Newfoundland and Halifax then the turbulence started for about 25 minutes or so but finally let up so it wasn't so bad after all.My aunt and uncle are both in there 60's now and enjoying retirement in the German countryside.
They live in an old stone/limestone washed home in a small village outside of Hamburg. Beautiful country. I think I may want to retire here also depending how things are in 35 years. Who can predict that? I can't...
The contractors just finished installing a new tile roof just in time for the holidays and winter. It looks beautiful and they did a great job cleaning up the place. The construction is much different here than back on the West Coast.
Well that's about all the time I have right now and I would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. If you don't have your health, you have nothing! I thank God everyday that I am able to do the things I can because one never knows from day to day, anything can happen in a split second. That's how life is so you need to live every moment like it was your last.
If you ever plan on traveling to Hamburg, then check out this website!
Until next time, Colleen out!
